Times are tough and it is often expensive to participate in therapy, seminars, or other helpful programs. Here are some great, free, ways to take steps on your journey to personal development. First is journaling; a spiral notebook and a pencil are all that’s required. Journaling has been shown to be a very helpful method of dealing with trauma. Podcasts, websites, blogs, and social media are excellent uses of the computer to resolve issues. Library books are free, of course, and can be extremely useful in learning about what ails you and how to heal it. Finally, meditation is a time tested way to further the process of healing.
